Important roadworks update
M1 northbound junction 13 entry slip road closure – resurfacing
I’m writing to tell you that we plan to carry out resurfacing on the M1 northbound at the junction 13 entry slip road. Once completed, drivers will experience a smoother, safer road surface
We plan to complete this work overnight on Tuesday 14 October 2025 between 10pm and 5am, weather permitting.
Closures and diversions
To carry out the work safely, we’ll need to close the M1 northbound at the junction 13 entry slip road and divert traffic as follows:
- Drivers planning to travel northbound from junction 13 should continue southbound on the M1 to junction 12
- At junction 12, exit via the slip road and turn right onto the Harlington Road (A5120)
- Travel along Harlington Road (A5120) and take the first right turn onto the M1 northbound entry slip road
- Continue northbound on the M1 to complete your journey
