The works relate to pre-surface dressing, surface dressing, lining and associated civils works.

Temporary traffic management and a diversion route will be in place via B579, B5120, A5, A5505, B5790 and Luton Road (and vice versa).
You may already have noticed provisional signage appearing in the area. The works are scheduled to take place during daytime hours only, but there may be some disruption to traffic along this stretch of road during those times. The restrictions are to be in operation only when the necessary signs are erected on site.
The Legal Order will be made to cover an 18 month period. Access may be allowed from time to time according to local signing.
