Notice to the Community: Playground Project Commencing
We are excited to inform you that the Playground Project is starting sooner than we expected! Wicksteed, the contractor for the project, will be commencing work on Monday, 28th April 2025, at 7:30 AM.
What to Expect:
- Heras Fencing Installation:
A Heras fence will be erected around the playground to secure the site. Please note that the playground will be closed for the duration of the project, though the public footpath along its perimeter will remain open. No equipment will be permitted during this time. - Removal of Rubber Matting:
Some of the existing rubber matting will be taken up and removed to make way for the new surfacing. - Removal of Slide Equipment:
The current slide equipment will be dismantled and taken away as part of the upgrades. - Assessment of new Spin-a-Bounce Location:
The contractor will be assessing the location for the new Spin-a-Bounce and finalizing its position.
We appreciate your understanding and patience during the construction period. We are excited about the improvements and look forward to unveiling the new playground once the project is complete.
